06About Luxo
A nail salon in Avondale with a conscience.
Luxo Nail Spa is a nail salon on West Belmont Avenue in Avondale, Chicago. Victoria Nguyen founded it during the pandemic and runs it with her partner Sandy Nguyen, who brings twenty years of salon ownership in Chicago. Everything we use is vegan, cruelty-free, mineral-oil-free and plant-based, from Stellar Gel and Aprés to Voesh New York and Dazzle Dry, and tools are sterilized for every guest.
Our signature is the Russian manicure: precise e-file work around the cuticle by our European nail specialists, with hard gel overlays that last up to six weeks. We also offer Gel X, builder gel, acrylic, hand-painted nail art, lash extensions, brows, waxing, spa packages and a head spa. We serve Avondale, Logan Square, Irving Park, Roscoe Village and Lakeview. Walk-ins are welcome and booking is recommended.

Questions we hear every day.
How long will my manicure or pedicure last?
Manicures typically last up to two weeks and pedicures up to four, depending on your routine and aftercare. Hard gel overlays and extensions last up to six weeks.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome. We recommend booking ahead on Vagaro to secure your preferred time and artist.
Are your tools and products sanitized?
Yes. We follow strict hygiene protocols, sterilize all tools and use disposable items wherever necessary. Our products are vegan, cruelty-free and mineral-oil free.
What if a nail chips or lifts?
Repairs are complimentary within 14 days of a hard gel service and within 7 days of a gel, Gel X or builder gel service. After that, hard gel repairs are $12 per nail, gel or builder gel repairs start at $5 per nail, and acrylic or Gel X repairs are $10.
Can I bring an inspiration photo?
Please do. Bring a photo or idea to your appointment. Your artist will talk through the design and give you a personalized quote for custom art.
Is there parking at Luxo Nail Spa in Avondale?
Yes. Free parking is available at 3262 W Belmont Ave, and there is an EV charger on site if you drive electric. The salon is accessible for guests with limited mobility.
Do you take walk-ins, and what languages does your team speak?
Walk-ins are welcome, though we recommend booking on Vagaro to get the time you want. Our team speaks English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Russian. Kids are welcome too, and a Children's Polish Change, Hands or Toes is $25.
