What happens during a fill

Your artist starts by checking every nail for lifting, cracks or thin spots. Lifted product is filed away rather than pried off, because prying pulls layers from the natural nail. The grown-out area near the cuticle is prepped, then fresh builder gel or acrylic is applied to blend the new growth into the existing nail and rebuild its strength. The whole nail is reshaped and the surface smoothed. Then you choose a color: any of 20 gel colors on the builder gel fill, your gel polish on Gel X, clear or colored with gel top coat on acrylic. On an Ombré Pink & White Infill the two shades are reapplied so the gradient stays blended.

When to book nail fills in Avondale, and when to start over
